Lead growth, quality and innovation in education for the community and social services sector The Role Centacare Catholic Community Services is looking for a skilled and forward-thinking leader to join us as the Centacare Institute Manager. The Centacare Institute is a well-regarded Registered Training Organisation (RTO 1004) that delivers high-quality, trauma-informed and culturally responsive training for South Australia's growing community services workforce. In this role, you’ll lead all areas of the Institute’s work—from training delivery and workforce development to compliance, partnerships, and business growth. With a strong focus on sustainability and expansion, you'll guide the Institute into its next chapter, helping shape the future of education in the community services sector. Key responsibilities - Provide strategic leadership to strengthen the Institute’s reputation and reach across the sector
- Expand accredited and non-accredited training aligned with current and emerging community needs
- Drive business development to ensure long-term sustainability and impact
- Lead the development of innovative school-based programs in partnership with key stakeholders, including an AFL club
- Oversee RTO compliance and continuous improvement in line with the VET Quality Framework
- Centralise and lead the delivery of internal training across Centacare
- Manage and develop a high-performing team committed to inclusive, learner-centred practice
What you’ll bring: - TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or successor)
- Extensive experience in the RTO sector, including compliance, quality assurance and training delivery
- Demonstrated leadership and the ability to scale and sustain high-quality education programs
- Deep understanding of the community services landscape, including workforce development needs
- Experience leading diverse teams, including those with lived experience
- A business-focused mindset with the ability to respond creatively to emerging opportunities
Bonus: - Tertiary qualification in education, community services or a related field
- Experience in peer-led training, blended/online learning and project management
- Understanding of trauma-informed and culturally safe education and training principles
