About the Program The Your LINC program supports people using mental health services to regain wellbeing, reduce stress, and build skills for independent living. Operating across metro and regional South Australia, Your LINC helps people prevent crises, improve their health, and enjoy a better quality of life. About Your New Role We’re looking for a detail-focused Data Officer to help us track the impact of our work and improve services for people experiencing mental health challenges. In this role, you’ll collect, analyse and report on both numbers (like outcomes and needs assessments) and stories (like client feedback and focus groups). You’ll support staff in using our database correctly, help extract meaningful insights, and create reports that guide service planning, continuous improvement, and stakeholder reporting. You’ll play a key part in making sure our data is clear, useful, accurate—and treated with care. What You’ll Do Data Collection, Analysis & Reporting - Collect and analyse both quantitative and qualitative data
- Produce clear, accurate reports for internal teams and external funders
- Identify trends and insights to inform service planning and development
- Support ongoing quality improvement through meaningful use of data
Database Support & Administration - Help staff use the client database correctly and consistently
- Support training for new staff and develop system guides
- Maintain user access and manage roles in the system
- Ensure accurate data entry, and lead data cleansing tasks
Data Integrity & Ethics - Handle data ethically and confidentially
- Promote best practice in data privacy and security
What You’ll Bring - Experience collecting, analysing, and reporting on data
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to use data systems and tools (e.g. Excel, databases)
- Strong time management and organisational ability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
It’s a bonus if you have these, but not essential - Experience working in mental health, community services, or the not-for-profit sector
- Familiarity with client management systems (e.g. Penelope or similar)
