We support individuals and organisations across South Australia, Australia and New Zealand with confidential counselling, wellbeing programs, and trauma response services. Our work is fast-paced, meaningful, and grounded in care. The Opportunity We’re looking for a skilled Counsellor who is passionate about helping people navigate challenges in both their personal and professional lives.
You will work: - Monday, Tuesday and Friday: 9:00am-5:06pm
- Wednesday and Thursday: 12:00pm - 8:06pm
In this role, you’ll: - Provide short-term, solution-focused counselling (individuals, couples, and groups).
- Support workplaces through critical incident and trauma response (including some onsite work).
- Support clients in managing mental health concerns through clinically informed, evidence-based interventions.
- Conduct risk assessments and safety planning when needed.
- Keep accurate case notes and contribute to team reporting.
- Be part of an on-call roster and respond to ad-hoc requests.
What You’ll Bring - A degree in Psychology or Social Work (with eligibility for APS/AASW membership).
- At least 5 years’ counselling or clinical experience.
- Confidence working with people facing mental health challenges and complex needs.
- Strong interpersonal skills — you’re a great listener and communicator.
- A current DHS WWCC Check and Driver’s Licence.
It’s a bonus if you have: - Experience in organisational counselling or workplace trauma support.
- Used Athena Penelope (or similar client management systems).
