The Centacare Institute (RTO no. 1004) is expanding its accredited and non-accredited offerings across South Australia’s community and social services sector. The Role As an Educator, you’ll design and deliver engaging training – both accredited and non-accredited – using trauma-informed, recovery-oriented approaches. You’ll collaborate with passionate colleagues, support students throughout their journey and help build strong connections with industry. You’ll also play a vital role in ensuring our compliance with ASQA standards and funding requirements, while contributing to the ongoing growth across our suite of training programs. Other responsibilities: - Develop, co-design and deliver accredited and non-accredited training
- Deliver e-learning and face-to-face sessions using engaging, trauma-informed approaches
- Support students through pre-enrolment interviews, regular contact and progression monitoring
- Maintain accurate records and use online systems effectively
- Participate in validation, quality assurance and professional development activities
- Build strong relationships with learners, colleagues and industry partners
- Embed lived experience, recovery, and trauma-informed principles in your training
- Help coordinate student placements and ensure compliance with RTO requirements
Share your experience. Inspire growth. Shape careers. To be successful, you will need: - TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or working towards
- Certificate IV or higher-level qualification in relevant human services qualification
- Demonstrated experience in training facilitation and learner engagement.
- Strong communication, time management, and digital literacy skills
Desirable - Degree in a relevant discipline and experience in instructional design or online delivery.
- Background in lived experience, carer roles, or community-based education and support.
Other Requirements - Travel within South Australia may be required
- Some out-of-hours work may be necessary
