The Role

As the Service Development Lead within Centacare’s Care and Support Services Unit, you will play a key role in our Leadership Team, driving the growth and development of our disability services. You will be responsible for client attraction and retention, service marketing, and business development. You will play a key role in workforce development and training initiatives, identifying services gaps and opportunities for improvement. You will collaborate with internal teams within Centacare to improve service offerings, ensure compliance with NDIS Quality Standards, and help develop new services that meet the evolving needs of our participants.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead client attraction and retention efforts, maintaining relationships with stakeholders including government agencies, disability advocacy groups, and health professionals.
  • Promote CaSS services within local communities and disability networks through engagement and strategic marketing.
  • Oversee the intake of clients, ensuring compliance with NDIS requirements.
  • Partner with internal teams to enhance service delivery and ensure quality assurance.
  • Collaborate on workforce development and participate in strategic initiatives, including grant writing and service audits.
  • Partner with the Centacare Communications team to develop promotional materials, and marketing strategies in an effort to promote our services.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture within the Care and Support Services Unit.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Valid DHS Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening, and Australian Driver’s Licence.
  • Completion of the NDIS Orientation Module and NDIS New Worker Modules.
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field or extensive experience in the disability services sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in business development, policy implementation, and service delivery improvement within the disability sector.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.

  Desirable:

  • Specialist experience in tender writing, business proposals, and grant submissions.
  • Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander or CALD communities.

This role will be based out of our head office located in Adelaide CBD, with regular trave to our Adelaide Metropolitan sites. Some occasional intrastate travel will be required to our Whyalla sties.
