About the Volunteer Position Wandana Community Centre provides a range of social, educational, recreational and community services for people in the local community of Gilles Plains and surrounding suburbs. Craft Group Facilitator volunteer will help in developing and deliver a group craft program that is delivered once a week for minimum 2 hours. Formal art training not required however experience across a variety of craft mediums is expected. To work with Centre Manager on developing a timetable of activities within budget. About You We are looking for motivated individuals who: - Outgoing friendly personality
- Ability to relate to and communicate with people from all different cultures,
including young children, parents and agency staff - Ability to work within a team environment, willingness to work within policy
guidelines - Eager and willing to participate in training courses conducted
- Experience in a variety of craft and art media and ability to teach others
- Ability to comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements
Desirable - Previous experience in a similar role
