The Role

 

Centacare Institute (RTO 1004) is a leading training provider in South Australia, delivering accredited qualifications to meet the diverse needs of our community and workforce. We support government-funded, employer-funded, and fee-paying learners.

 

As Centacare Institute Administrator, you will play a role in supporting our Senior Manager – Training and Education Services, RTO Administration and Compliance Coordinator, and Educators. Your focus will be on coordinating administrative processes, maintaining compliance, and providing exceptional service to learners, stakeholders, and the wider Centacare community.

 

In this role, you will manage student enrolments, course completions, compliance reporting, and payments, while ensuring accurate records and data management. You will also contribute to team meetings, coordinate training sessions, and bring forward ideas to improve our administrative functions.

 

This is a 0.6 FTE position with the possibility of increasing hours in the future, depending on organisational needs.

What you bring

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar administrative role.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
  • A friendly approach and a can-do attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Publisher, etc.).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well-developed time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A valid Department of Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check.

Desirable

  • Experience in a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) in a similar role.
  • Advanced skills in using student management systems.
  • Experience with data systems such as STELA and aXcelerate.
  • A Certificate IV in Business Administration.
  • Training & Assessment qualifications.
  • Knowledge of e-learning software.
