Service Development Lead (Disability)
Adelaide 5000 (Part-time 0.6 FTE)

The Role

 

Reporting to the Executive Manager, you will be a key member of the Leadership Team, driving the strategic growth and development of our disability services. As the Service Development Lead, you will play a central role in shaping workforce development and training initiatives, while identifying service gaps and opportunities for innovation. You will collaborate across Centacare teams to enhance service delivery, ensure ongoing compliance with NDIS Quality Standards, and support the design and implementation of services that respond to the evolving needs of our participants.

 

This is a 12-month fixed-term, part-time position (0.6 FTE) with a potential for an extension.

 

The key duties in this role will include:

  • Lead initiatives to attract and retain clients, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders such as government bodies, disability advocacy groups, and healthcare professionals.
  • Manage client intake processes, ensuring all activities align with NDIS requirements and best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance service delivery, drive continuous improvement, and uphold quality assurance standards.
  • Support workforce development strategies and contribute to strategic projects, including grant applications and external service audits.
  • Conduct high-level service and market analysis to inform program development and drive sustainable growth.
  • Actively promote Centacare’s Care and Support Services within local communities and disability networks through strategic engagement and marketing initiatives.

 Essential Criteria

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field or extensive experience in the disability services sector.
  • Completion of the NDIS Orientation Module and NDIS New Worker Modules.
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field or extensive experience in the disability services sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in business development, policy implementation, and service delivery improvement within the disability sector.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.

Desirable

  • Specialist skills in business development and/or sales background within either the Disability Services, Community Services or Aged Care Sector.
  • Significant experience and skills relating to tender writing, business proposals and grant submissions or other report writing.

Special Condition

  • This role will be based out of our head office located in Adelaide CBD, with regular travel to our Adelaide Metropolitan sites. Some occasional intrastate travel will be required to our Whyalla sties.
