About the program
In partnership with the South Australian Office for Women, Centacare delivers Haven services in selected regional communities. The Limestone Coast Haven, based in Mount Gambier, serves as a central hub for women and children experiencing domestic, family, and sexual violence. By providing access to information, support, and integrated services, the Haven ensures timely, coordinated, and person-centred responses that meet individual needs.
The Role
As a Haven Community Partner, you will play a vital role in supporting victim-survivors by building community awareness, strengthening local service networks, and fostering coordinated responses to domestic, family, and sexual violence.
Working collaboratively with the Women’s Information Service (WIS) Haven Coordinator, local services, and volunteers, you will help deliver a responsive, person-centred program that meets the unique needs of the community while contributing to a consistent statewide Haven approach. You will also play an important role in engaging and supporting volunteers who help drive local Haven activities and initiatives.
