The Role The Administration and Intake Officer is based at Centacare's Noarlunga site and plays an integral role in supporting the delivery of Counselling and Mediation Programs within the Children's Services Unit (CSU).
Reporting to the Site Manager, this role provides high-quality administrative and office support while serving as the first point of contact for clients accessing services. Combining strong administration capability with a client-centred approach, the position supports intake, screening and referral processes to ensure families are connected with the most appropriate services.
As a key member of the site administration team, you will contribute to a welcoming, professional and efficient service environment while supporting staff, clients, and program outcomes across the CSU.
The role supports the delivery of the following programs:
Family Relationship Counselling Supporting individuals, couples and families to strengthen relationships, improve communication, and navigate family challenges.
Family Law Counselling Providing counselling and support to families experiencing separation, family law matters and relationship transitions.
PEAS in a Pod Supporting parents and carers through education, connection and practical strategies that strengthen family wellbeing.
Sellick Play and Connect Groups Facilitating opportunities for children, parents and carers to connect, learn and build supportive community networks through play-based activities.
